Our Policies

1. Policy on Corruption and Bribery:

 

CM CENTRO MIRADOR and INVERSIONES CM EL HATILLO (hereafter, the "Companies") are committed to conducting business in an ethical and honest manner, and are committed to implementing and enforcing systems that ensure bribery is prevented. The Companies have zero-tolerance for bribery and corrupt activities. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships, wherever we operate.

 

2. Policy on Gifts and Entertainment:

 

The Companies' employees must not accept gifts, hospitality, or entertainment that could affect, or appear to affect, the outcome of business decisions. Gifts must be reported to a supervisor, and recorded in a Gifts Register. Similarly, the Companies must ensure that all gifts and hospitality given to others are reasonable, appropriate and approved by management.

 

3. Retaliation Policy:

 

The Companies are committed to providing a workplace conducive to open discussion of its business practices. It is Company policy to strictly prohibit retaliation against any employee who in good faith reports a possible violation of the Companies' Code of Ethics or other perceived misconduct.

 

4. Policy on Employee Certification:

 

All employees are required to certify that they have received, read, and understood the Companies' Code of Ethics and the corresponding policies contained within. They are also required to complete a regular training course that reinforces the Code of Ethics and helps to foster an environment of compliance and ethics within the Companies.

 

5. Conflict of Interest Policy:

 

The Companies' employees are required to act in the best interest of the Companies at all times. Employees must avoid situations where personal interests could conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of the Companies. Any potential conflicts of interest must be reported to a supervisor.

 

6. Data Protection and Privacy Policy:

 

The Companies respect the privacy of all our employees, clients, and business partners. All personal information is stored and processed in compliance with the applicable data protection laws and regulations. Employees who have access to such information are required to maintain its confidentiality.

 

7. Workplace Harassment and Discrimination Policy:

 

The Companies are committed to providing a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. Any form of harassment or discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, or any other protected class is strictly prohibited.

 

8. Health and Safety Policy:

 

The Companies are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment. All employees are responsible for observing safety rules and practices and for taking necessary precautions to protect themselves and their colleagues.

 

9. Substance Abuse Policy:

 

The Companies are committed to maintaining a workplace free from substance abuse. The use, possession, distribution, or sale of controlled substances or alcohol in the workplace is strictly prohibited.
